swim meets

Friday November 4th at 6:00pm: Home versus York and Marymount (double dual)
- backstroke for 200 medly relay. my time (50 backstroke): 36.9 (I swam in what was clearly (unspokenly) the less strong relay team of the two Gally teams... and got EXACTLY the same time as the woman who swam backstroke for the other relay team. so hey)
- 200 IM (cuz my coach is trying to kill me apparently). my time: 2:55 (Apparently I impressed my coach with an under 3:00 time but... I was disqualified because I'm a moron (fucked up my breastroke pull-out).)
- 200 free relay. my time: dont know cuz Justin wasn't paying attention.

Wednesday November 9th at 5:00pm (changed from Saturday November 19th): away at Howard University
- 200 IM. time: 2:54
- 500 freestyle (again with the coach trying to kill me thing...). time: 7:22 (goal if i do that again: under 7:00)
- 100 breaststroke. time: 1:33

Friday November 11th at 6:00pm: away at St. Mary's (with Hood College) (double dual)
- breaststroke for 200 medley relay. time: 42.45
- 200 IM. time: 2:57
- 100 breaststroke. time: 1:32

Sunday November 20th at 1:00pm: Home versus Arcadia and Penn St.-Altoona (double dual)
- 200 IM. time: 2:52 (yes! i did what i set out to do and improved my IM time)
- 500 freestyle. time: 7:22 (eh, well, can't argue with consistency. at least this time i scored points for the team)
- 100 breastroke. time: 1:35 (in all fairness... for week before this meet i was expecting to do backstroke for a relay, the 200 IM and either the 500 or 100 free. i didnt know until i arrived at the pool that i was going to swim the 100 breastroke... so its not as though i had been spending time trying to improve my breastroke)

and... that's all! today was my last swim meet with gallaudet. wow. perhaps i shall have to swim when i get back to smith...
